Linda, I love this poem. While there is a loneliness, I get the sense of peaceful resolve to keep moving forward, and there is a sense of calming hope in the words. Also, like how everything keeps going on. There is a comfort and security in the continuity. Beautiful! The image is very peaceful to me as well. Hugs & smiles, Suzanne
