Eyes Do Tell On You Baby full of kisses Her eyes shine through Climbs onto my lap To show how much she cares The window of her soul Sparkles many colors turn around Yet the tears decide to flow Time and time again She blows in the wind Drinking water as she goes Even though it seems So many caught up On their own Sometimes visions wonder Where life it goes What has it been? This takes me to a completely different place than you intended in this poem, Linda. The word that strikes me is "Nothingness". That is a significant arrival point in spirituality. The emptying of ones self. It is a type of purification that brings the soul to a new horizon, to be filled with abundant blessings and grace.
