And I, a prisoner, in those dark halls,
That lonely place with painted walls,
In which no sunshine ever falls,
Was afraid of the dark and full of fright
That is, until the faery of the night
Brought me the stars by candle light

I've been meaning to comment on this one since you first posted it - sorry so late. I really like where you are going with your work. You are learning by leaps and bounds. Your work is very gentle - and perfect illustrations of your poems if they are like this one. Well done.
