"If one does not know to which port one is sailing, no wind is favourable." ~ Seneca
The Port of Miami is one of the busiest in the United States and the sheer volume of cargo that is shipped in and out of it is staggering. To help with this high traffic volume, 2 new cranes (numbers 11 & 12) were purchased from China and brought in on a giant cargo wessel in 2005. These modern behemoths make even the giant older black cranes (7-10 shown) seem puny. Again, the detail is best viewed at FULL SIZE. You can read more about these cranes and see photos as they were shipped in full assembled from Shanghai HERE. {---link ------

They just keep getting bigger and better, don't they? This is an interesting shot. It tells how prosperous this country is. I hope it stays that way. :o)
