Description

Source : A digital photo I shot at a recent car show. Apps : Paint Shop Pro ver 9 and Artweaver NOTE: 1963 was the only year GM offered the Split Window coupe. It was removed in the 1964 model as GM had complaints the rear pilar impaired vision. 1963 was also the first year for the C2 (2nd generation Corvette). The C2's last year of production was 1967. In 1968 GM replaced the C2 with the C3.

This is a sweet car...wonder if it's the one I saw at a car show at the Avi Casino back in late April. Nice job!

It's a shame they changed the design, as I think the split window way more kool and appealing, plus with this version, the Vette looks hot both ways !!! ~Cheers~ :o)

I met this car early in a preview by Zora himself in a small upstairs room in the Michigan Union. I never could get used to the Riviera look alike. The girl would always choose what's bigger. It was annoying. Nothing could be grosser at LeMans than a Riviera unless it was a Mercedes 600. Phaedra meets the rusty bucket sort of.

I remember when this model hit the roads of LA - reminded me of the Edsel, and the loss of wonderful roadster! Now, like the Edsel, worth a mint! ;)
