Description

Just another view of Hadrians wall taken on my stopover travelling north. You can see the Sycamore tree of my last posting on the right and the wall stretching off to the hoizon along the ridge, it is visible even on the farthest hill in the larger image. Yep nothing dramatic in this capture I just needed to sit down having just climbed up out of the dip and it is a simple point and shoot shot. There is a larger version if you like what you see or want to see more detail click on the image. Thanks for looking and any comments, Richard.

It is always a pleasure to view your landscapes- very crisp and clear, lots of detail to examine, and a fantastic eye for aesthetics and composition!

A lovely image Richard the inclusion of the front wall helps to get an idea of scale and structure.. It was the most remarkable feat of engineering and would present a formidable hurdle even in these modern times

I think this is a very dramtic shot of this superb rugged landscape, Richard. I love your POV and the inclusion of the wall. Strong legs required to walk here! Hugs. Diane.

I am struck by the barren yet lovely kind of emptiness in this. I can just imagine myself standing there, all alone. ( Please tell me there isn't a souvenir shop behind you, lol. Nah. I'm kidding. ) This is wonderful, Richard. Your compo really gives it an expansive feel.
