Description

With the morning sun lying low over the horizon, this lovely iris was captured at the same time and in the same place as the one in yesterday's posting of the same variety (thank you, MrsLubner, for the identification). Happy Hump day, ya'll!!!

The dark background with the spots of shadowing and lighting make this very striking. You've brought forth the exciting electric violet in the center pieces and the yellow on the outside pedals is vibrant and grabs the eye. I'd have to call this one...stellar.

I'm liking this one a bit more than yesterday's, as wel.! It's a slight advantage, I admit, since your image of yesterday was beautiful, but I find the POV on this one to be more exciting. Beautiful iris!
