Description

You never know what you will find while poring over stuff you've found in the musty attic of your hard drive. This photo was captured sometime last year, very early in the morning, about .75 of a mile from my domicile. I realize this falls within the purview of auntietk's vast bailiwick of the same species, so I hope she doesn't mind the intrusion. Thanks for the visit!

This is a peacock iris. They are just lovely flowers with layers of color and shapes. You did a great job of shooting this one. Good crop and frame.

This iris is quite stunning, my friend! The colors are beautiful, and it's nicely lit, so we can see all the details. I realize I may have been over-doing it on the iris photos lately, but that only serves to make me tiresome, it does not give me any rights or priveleges, express or implied, to any genus, species or variety of flora!
