That reminds me...I have an old typewriter sitting in my closet, but it's newer than this one. Mine uses a little rotating ball instead of keys. Anyway, fine capture of this ancient artifact.

I am completely feeling this image at the moment Richard! The deadline is over and I would like to take all the stuff on my desk and do precisely what this image provokes ;) Wonderful and thank you!

Stop by my office tomorrow morning, and I'll give you a demonstration! I still have an IBM Self-Correcting Selectric II that I use about three times a month. When one needs a typewriter, nothing else will do. I guard mine with my life! Best typewriter ever made. Ummm . . . sorry . . . apparently there was a soapbox there that I was unable to avoid. Your image is very cool - nice postwork!

I had an Olympia typewriter that I once lent to the Iranian ambassador's son for a year in college. It came back with the case zipper ripped. Twenty years later some vandal friend of my wife's broke the center key head off so my son would reject it and then gave him a bigger Smith-Corona. It did not matter he learned to type with a new product from Microsoft, Typeing Tutor. Anybody ever hear of these guys?
