I have a zoom that goes to 300. Best I'll ever own, especially now with no job here in Michigan.

I have been watching this same scene for the past 5 months outside my office window. In fact, we have 2 going up. Good shot for the distance.

Neat zoom test, but for a lens that big, a tripod is a must ! Interesting capture & ~Cheers~ :o)

Nice test shot. There doesn't seem to be a lot of noise @ 400 speed ... wish I could say that about my camera.

Powerful lens! Better with a tripod or monopod though, the latter being cheaper!

I would imagine I'd definitely need a tripod with that type of lens Richard. Nevertheless, there is tremendous depth of field here. Well done Sir! Steve :o)

Superb shot! I am at Fairford Airshow this weekend in Gloustershire. I was lucky enough to pick up a Sigma 500mm zoom and a x2 converter from ebay last year. No auto-focus, but 1000mm! Lets hope I'm quick enough to catch the planes! Excellent image Richard!

What an amazing shot for being so far away I would get sick going up this high...I am afraid of heights...and airplanes.. Have never been on a plane before I would have to get tipsy before I boared one and since I don't drink would not take much grin or a knock out shot one.. Great capture sweetie... Hugs Susan~
