The new girl, I guess her name is Celine, did’nt wake up until we got back home. Corrine saw all the blood all over the two of us, and came running, blubbering about what had happened to Celine. Ree and I looked at each other, and then at Corrine, and said in unison, “We’re both fine! Thank you for asking.” Corrine got us both cleaned up, and was healing Ree’s wounds when Celine woke up and started jabbering on about how hurt Ree was…… and then she noticed that Ree was sitting there glaring at her. Silence ensued. While this is going on I’ve got this beautiful silk vest that is just ruined from the combat, and I don’t think I’ll ever get it cleaned, when Celine says, “Miss Ree, I heard you say something about getting a set of earrings right before I passed out. Did you get some? May I see them?” Out of the corner of my eye, I see Ree get this really evil grin, as she cocked her head to the right, and raised her arm to brush back her hair, and I’m thinking, earrings? Where the hell did she get……… Celine leans closer and says “That’s weird, what is that…..it almost looks like a……” ….earrings? “OMG! No! Ree don’t!” I blurted, as Celine barfed right in Ree’s lap! Ree starts cussing like a ‘free range cat herder’, as Celine stands up with a wild look on her face, looks at the three of us, and takes off running. I guess I’ll get the ‘Help Wanted’ sign out AGAIN! If this does not make sense, see my previous post. TTFN
