Description

Just got back from a cruise up the New England coast, and our last stop was Halifax N.S. And low and behold there is a real live 'Flower' class corvette!(me thinks its a 'Flower') What a tiny ship! Great self guided tour for $2.00us. Halifax was gorgeous! Great people, beautiful town! To all you 'Canuks' out there in 'osity land, thanks for a great visit! TTFN

I'm with theprojectionist on ship identification here. Flower Class vessels served with the RN, RCN, and USN. Candain ships and sailors helped keep the Atlantic convoys going in both World War I & II. "Cruel Sea" is a great movie. Can't beat Jack Hawkins.
