Description

I've been on a terrain-building kick. This is hard on the mac with its dearth of decent heightfield editing apps. Wilbur? No. Leveller? No. GeoControl? Nope. I built this terrain in Wings3D. Yeah! Did an overhead height mask render in Bryce6. Manipulated the result in Photoshop. Then eroded some in Bryce and rendered. Fun was had! This was my first 20 hour render. Feel like I've lost some kind of cherry.

Beautiful sky! Are surface radiation levels high, here?

The result is beautiful, though! I've been trying to figure out the tools in Illustrator and Photoshop better for making the kinds of terrains, etc. I want to do. They're great for Graphic design, but not so easy for this kind of thing. You've done a good job of creating a really interesting landscape.
