Description

Sweet William (aka Dianthus), Stargazer Lily, and ornamental grass. A while ago Dianthus (aka Chris), asked in passing if I had any pictures of her namesake. I think this is the only one I've got. So, Dear Dianthus, this one is for you!

Such beautiful colors! (I planted some Sweet William in the Spring, I have not had any blooms yet, Now I know what to look for! If I am lucky enough to get some blooms.) Great Photograph.

A surfeit of rich colors, sharp detail and light and shadow in this splendid macro, Tara! The design on those little red colors on the right remind me of cowboy bandanas. Also, nice dedication to the beautiful Dianthus (literally, Carnation).
