Description
Josh Lesnick's Girly.
For an understanding of why Kaballah is dressed like this and has the ear piercings and the different hairstyle, go enjoy Josh's excellent, terribly fun comic.
Otra is Victoria 4.1 with modified DAZ materials imported with Huroyume's interPoser Pro, and completely original hair designed in Cinema 4D's hair module. Lighting is three point lights.
This was great fun and a huge learning experience getting to know C4D and its dynamic hair and cloth. Her hair may look strange, and that's OK; it's modeled after Josh's great cartoon work. The backdrop is a simple cloth simulation with a small part constrained to bring out the folds, to focus the view onto her hair. The "O" texture on her top is intentionally kind of rough, textured in Bodypaint 3d (very fun to mess with also).
Rendered in Cinema4D R10, minor postwork (shoulder cut, text). Girly is copyright 2003-2007 Josh Lesnick.
Enjoy, comments welcome.

I think the lighting and environment could be a little better.

They could be a lot better, sure :) I've had Cinema 4D for a week now, so I've got a lot to learn.

The hair looks fabulous! As the cloth text. Her skin looks a little greenish, but it may be intentional. So now, up to you the joy of postwork the shoulder hard edges! (i guess C4D has no 'smooth polygon' button...) :)

At all it is a great portrait with a very good camera-setting of viewpoint!! Only from my point of personal taste your used model seems a bit too old for a "girly"; I would prefere a younger character for such a girly-scene.

Eeeek! That's scary.

One word: BRILLIANT!

Very cool! Now I know why I haven't seen you in a Poser forum lately, you;re having too much fun with Cinema! Enjoy yourself :)

I think this looks so much better than Poser renders. The hair is very realistic looking even if it is so long and wild. I particularly like the shapes of light and shadow on her face. Any cloth with folds looks cool to me.
