Description
Just finished working on my second submarine - the 941 Akula (Typhoon class) Russian nuclear sub, the largest in the world. Here it's heading out to sea, and will soon vanish from sight as it descends into the cold, dark depths of the ocean.

Great model and the waves are just wonderful - so hard to do them well but you nailed it!

Outstanding work, especially around the bow wave and wake.

This is really really well done! Really well! Okay, I don't know what to say, can I just stare at it with my mouth open?

And as she slips beneath the waves, the USS Dallas, a Los Angeles class sub that has tracked her since she left Polyarny slides behind the massive missle boat, the Russians never knowing that she has a tail, not until the high pitched whine of a pair of Mk48 ADCAPs sounds in their ears. Was there a boat named Akula? I knew there is a class of Russian sub named that, but it is a Hunter/Killer.

I think you need to do a tutorial on how you did this image. I would really like to know!
