Description

This adorable child came to sit near me at the park the other day. I was so pleased that she either wanted to say hello to me or have her photo taken! HA! It was neither.... She came over to beg for the fruit snacks that I had on the picnic table for the boys!! When she gave me this look, I was doomed and she left happily with her fruit snacks! lol Since we were in the shade I used my new Speedlight SB-800 flash attachment with the camera on Aperture priority. Great shot of the little street urchin, doing what urchins do best...beg for food. She could do with some brushing of her hair. The flash effect came out perfectly, without the red eye or the bright reflections often seen in similar photos.

I think your flash produced near perfect fill in lighting and the capture deserves a high mark on the "oooh" and "aaah" scale considering the speed with which you had to capture. Edit: Good to see you excellent personal site and that you have mastered the html skills. ;)
