Description

Our visit to the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum was a photographer's dream! What a great place for portraits. There was a bench at every turn. Of course, I thought of Michel (GiMi53) because he is so fond of benches. Hence the title. Have a great week Michel and all of you. Thanks for stopping to rest. Jodie

Ooooooh, Jodie... this is great and... exactly what I need right now : my life is very busy with a lot of meetings and travels and it would be fantastic to rest on this wonderful bench, with a book and looking at the trees ! (the light and shadows make it a very special corner) I'm delighted with your dedi; thank you so much my dear friend !

Yup, the Arboretum is a photograper's dream! An inviting spot and beautiful day to sit and contemplate. I think I've actually sat on that bench! But you're right there's so many...I can't really be sure.

Neat POV and lighting in this capture, Jodie. That reminds me, when I played football, the coach would bench me all the time. Anyway, arboretums are a great place to wander about, studying nature, and when you got tired, there was always a bench or a big rock to sit on.
