Description
The whole scene is actually animated as it was used in part of a short movie I made. Rendered in 3D Studio MAX 7.
The movie can be downloaded for free at www.alliedfleets.com - although it comes with a warming that it's not appropriate for younger audiences (some profanity and animated violence).

Love your work on the ship and the planet in the far b/g. Not keen on how the foreground moon texture turned out, but as you mentioned this was for an animation where the roughness would never be noticeable. Great piece of work!
