Description

These are wild Pelicans at a Marina here in Florida where they park the shrimp boats and deep sea fishing vessels... The birds are sitting on and near a gang plank and looking up at the fishermen who offer a service of cleaning fish for the customers... Of course these birds know where to find a free meal.... My aim was to capture the more colorful Pelicans in the background and in the water where they were lined up so well with their yellow heads and plumage like beaks, but one of the plainer brown Pelicans decided to take center stage... No matter how much I tried to shoo her away I only got stared down... So here she is with friends...
