Description
This is the Trotternish Ridge, a massive landslide that happened some 60 million years ago after a volcanic basalt lava flow grew to heavy for the underlying rock and the whole thing collapsed sliding down to the east. It is an area of unique scenery with twisted rock formations and pinnacles of jagged rock. Please click on the image to see a larger view.
I included the motor-home to give some sense scale. What a joy to drive on roads like this for anyone who is used to sitting in almost stationary urban traffic most days.
Thanks for looking and any comments you leave

Dramatic sky, great lighting and a brilliant pov, I was up there five years back but the weather was not good to me, it was rain and mist so you could not see the skyline. This is an outstanding capture. Bravo!!!!!

Those moss and grass-covered rocks give me the feeling of an iron hand in a velvet glove. Superb capture indeed!
