Description
Another rose from Wight's Nursery in Lynnwood, Washington.
This one made me think of a 30-year-old woman, in a sheath and a chignon, presiding over a Junior League tea. There's something a little old-fashioned and East Coast about this. It reminds me of my grandmother. (Quite truthfully, she was a bit of a snob!)
I seem to have quite a few roses ready to post. Maybe I'll just put up a whole bunch in a row. Let me know if it gets to be too much! They're like a rich dessert. At some point you just have to stop!

I really love what you have done with this rose. I love the way the background is dark all around the rose but not blacked out. You stretch me as a artist. I look at your work and I want to try and do the same thing. They say imitation is the purest form of flattery. I am such a big fan of your work and I have had the pleasure of also becoming a pen pal of yours and I think you are a much better person then you are a artist and that is saying a lot.
