Description

Taken at Wight's in Lynnwood. Long week, Friday night, I'm tired! Perhaps tomorrow I'll be a bit more entertaining. Tonight, you just get the rose. This is the real color. I didn't tweak the contrast at all. I think full view is probably worth it!

"Just the rose" is quite enough, my friend. They say to fill the frame with your subject, and you've certainly done that. And a glorious subject it is. Well done.

Ahhhh, you posted apricots and I posted tangerines :-) gets we're feeling sort of fruity today. :-) I adore your pov. It give a nice across-the-board look accenting the slight ruffle of the petal edges. A delightful shot.

A beautiful but very odd shaped rose, I must say. I see the color red but observe no connection to apricots, at least the color of the ones I purchase at the market, which are a orange yellow. Great POV, light/shadow, color and detail, elegantly contrasted against a black background, in this lovely macro.
