Description

Well, I think my older computer is about to have a nervous breakdown. I believe I've finished the Department and sent it to the old girl to render...volumetric lighting turned on and all. Let's see...It's been rendering for 24 hours now and we're at...0% complete; row-0, column 1476.... If you listen closely, you can hear it crying for release. There's a grand total of 188 light objects, 1 really big mirror, 184 glass orbs, 184 gold and silver stands, 6 shelves, obsidian tiled floors, walls, and ceiling with ivory grout...I stopped keeping count of the number of polygons after I hit 4.5 million...rendering at 200 ppi, at 10"X7". Damn, I feel soo much like a geek that I know all that off the top of my head.

24 hrs at 0% is um, scarry. If you haven't hit at least 1% by now, there's a good chance that the ole girl has gone to the funny farm and locked herself up! ;-)
