"Where is the wisdom we have lost in knowledge? Where is the knowledge we have lost in information?" ~ T. S. Eliot (1888-1965)
The Bound & Stacked buddies are back, but this time not to freak you out with any sudden color changes. While not as compositionally strong as the previous version, I like the surreal feel and overall look of the scene. Once again, this is an infrared photo in false color. I did change the sky from coppery red to blue, but otherwise there was no channel swapping in this one, it is as the camera and I saw it. I'll return to some more resipiscent images next week, have a super weekend! Best viewed at full size. ------

Maybe not as strong as the first one, but it's awfully close. The white foliage really does give this a surreal feeling. Bravo!

The trees are gorgeous, I don't say so much about the figures, but I wonder what they are made of.

strange in IR.

My gosh, are these scuptures married? :-) A couple of stubborn images. Wonderful shot of them and the pov does give a new look to them.

Very nice, as usual for you! I also prefer the first view of these sculptures, but this is nice too. This one is more about the interaction of the two figures, whereas the other seemed to be more about them in the environment.

That's very cool. Otherworldy. I was imagining a real person standing somewhere in the seen, in real-light, observing the "strangeness" of the environment.

The figures are wonderful, but my attention goes to the awning. I love the shape and how beautifully it goes with the figures, in color and form. Both really standout. I would love to see this cropped closely, giving it a vertical composition with just a bit of the white trees on the sides, and the bench removed from the image. Fascinating image to me. Beautiful! Love the contrast between the leaves and the 'people'... Delicate, clean leaves and the very earthy people.

I agree with you, fantastic surreal qualities ! I really like the stark contrast of the plants to the man-made...kool capture ! ~Cheers~ :o)

Mummies in waiting...who appear to have been worked over by some kind of kitchen trimming utensil, as seen on TV, used for jazzing up fruit and vegetables. Really great POV, detail, light/shadow and textural effects in the entire capture. The right half of the photo appears light years away, IR and color wise, to the left side of the photo.

I was right! It is the curse of the mummy? Or is it the invisible man wrapped in bandage. Love it. Aloha
