Description
I Do
Guide me through the pain
Is a part of me that will stay?
Precious is the soul
As the heart begins to heal
Stronger becomes the will
Self-talk answers the questions
Self-esteem will always need
Reassurance does some good
No longer is frighten
So much as confused
Seems a word or two
Not so simple
As one tends to think
Can offend the hurt
You know
Sensitivity plays a major roll
The tears have yet to shine
A hug has been missing
For so long it seems
The years have yet to see
Wonder how it feels
It will never be the same
As long as I see the rain
Continue down the lane

Heartfelt poetry, Linda. It speaks of our vulnerability, as well as the stores of strength we have within us to draw upon. Wonderful insight again. Choices always exist for us. Whatever we choose to do, we need to embrace it until we can make another choice, if we want to. There is peace and strength in owning our decisions at all times. We are empowered by realizing and accepting we choose our way. Hugs, love and smiles! Suzanne
