Description

This is a shot of the delta land above Mobile Bay, which is a mixture of water and land that extends up to 40 miles above the bay. We took an airboat tour of the area earlier this week, which allowed a lot of great photo opportunities that previously we could only have imagined. The area contains an abundance of unique animal and plant life, and contains approximately 128,000 adult (6 feet or longer) alligators. More to come from here. . . .

Beautiful and moody. The tree silhouettes against the soft blue sky, the dark water and presentation create a stark and surreal scene.

I always have loved that time of day when light stops illuminating life on the planet; leaving the trees black against a sunset sky. This reminds me of that... pretty. I can close my eyes and smell the air... Yeah- just another beautiful day along the Gulfcoast.
