Description
One of the finer accomplishments in my life thus far; my daughter Ashlin. My numerous visits to the Gulf Coast, where she resides, always includes some time together.
We had just partaken in a gulf coast seafood feast fit for a king at one of the best seafood restaurants I've ever encountered, the Fish House in Pensacola Florida. It's a gigantic multi-story wooden structure located right on Pensacola Bay.
Ravaged severely by Hurricane Ivan in September 2004, it's back as good as ever. She and I have dined there often, and should you ever find yourself in Pensacola, do yourself a favor and check it out!
Be sure to savor their key lime pie as well!

Far more beautiful than a photograph, I see there still the smile of the child she once was lingering in her face...nesteled comfortably inside the smile of a confident woman at ease with her father snapping another photograph. That is the most beautiful thing...a picture of an easy relationship between two- father and daughter...friends. Cool.

I still remember that B/W shot you posted of Ashlin several years back... every time I find myself in your gallery I look for a new shot of her, more grown-up each time. Beautiful girl, you must be such a proud dad ;-)
