Description

…hast struck. (Hamlet V, ii). On the morning of December 7, 1941 waves of ‘Kates, Vals and Zekes’ managed to make the complicated attack approach into the Pearl harbor basin and launch a surprise attack on the immense Island base. The carriers were approximately 300 miles northeast of the island and the Aichi D3A “VAL” dive bombers had to make continual figure eight maneuvers above the NB5 “Kate” torpedo planes that were much slower for the entire approach time. The battleships Oklahoma (capsized) Maryland, West Virginia, Tennessee, Vestal (repair vessel) and Arizona were in the third, fourth and fifth masonry mooring quays. The Nevada was singled up at the sixth quay and was able to get under way. Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of the prophecy, and heed the things which are written in it; for the time is near. Good work again. Your knowledge of WWII continues to amaze me. The picture looks pretty good with the exception of the background mountains and the simple textures. The torpedo might also look better if it was falling in midair. That's all. Have a good week :)
