Description
Captured at one of the zillion outdoor markets in Guangzhou, the capital of Guangdong province, in the south of China.
These little gals were constantly squirming and wrestling to stay in the middle of the pack, apparently to keep warm, even though the weather seemed pretty hot to me.
They'll produce eggs for a couple years and then end up in soup, most likely.
