And still again we take you back in time to October 22, 2006, when I captured the leading edge of a high school marching band tuning or warming up their musical skills prior to participating in the 25th annual Halloween Parade held here in my city.
And this photo provides undeniable proof that trombones do indeed lead the parade. Combined with all the other marching bands, there may actually be 76 in all, like in the song.
With so few viewings and comments coming in, I wonder why I even bother posting these marching band shots. Maybe I'm expecting a miracle. Oh well, tomorrow it's back to flowers and such.

Oh, I don't know - I like these! They all look so snappy. This is the marching band's big moment, and everyone is ready. I especially like the fact that you can't actually SEE the trumpet players, but the shadows clearly show them. Very cool!
