Description

And we take you back in time again to October 22, 2006, when I captured this group of marchers stepping smartly by, performing on their clarinets, flutes and a solitary trumpet, in the 25th annual Halloween Parade held here in my city. Don't mean to upset the anti-marching band crowd, but I just had to squeeze this one in for the few viewers that appreciate this stuff. Unfortunate that marching bands don't appeal to the majority of the viewers, because I have several photos similar to the above sitting in my folders. In fact, I have many shots of colorful people parading by on beautiful horses, but why post those if most are not interested in seeing them. Ergo, a tacit vox populi, I promise a return to flowers, clouds, butterflies, vehicles, etc., beginning tomorrow. Have a HAPPY HUMP DAY!

Isn't it nice when the band in all in step correctly? I was always the one on the wrong foot. Hard to keep your feet moving correctly while blowing on a clarinet... :-) Nice pov. Almost exactly as the middle row gets even with you. Wonderfully clear as well.

Well, it was fun while it lasted. I'll be sorry to see them march off into the sunset, but your flowers, vehicles, et al are spectacular, so I won't complain too much!

You've got to post things that make you happy not images that please the masses, you will never grow that way - IMOO.

PeeWee05: If no one bothers to look at your posting, they why bother posting it? Why not just look at it on your monitor and forget the masses? If I ran a business using your philosophy, I'd be bankrupt in no time.
