Please do more like this as you will find it changes your approach to photography. My suggestion is to tone done the contrast just a little so you bring in detail in the lower left hand area on the highlights of the straw, including the area just above the nail where the straw too has lost some of its detail. Though the photograph is excellent in colour, try converting it to B/W and give it a soft duo-tone with a secondary colour of Pantone 400. You might be surprised. This photograph lends itself well for B/W because of its classical composition and especially its subject matter. Thank you for sharing. egmont
