Description
Captured 7/25/07 around 7:20 AM, about 1.25 miles from my domicile.
Thank heaven for early morning sun. And the water drops are not from rain, but from an earlier watering by the residents of the property.
This flower is of a ground cover variety, a small sucker spanning maybe an 1.5" across, growing just an inch or so above the soil, at least where I encountered it along with many of its kin.
Have a nice day.

My first thought was periwinkle because it looks just like it, but periwinkle is blue... I am not sure what it is as there are several groundcovers with similar flowers. Still this is a lovely capture with good light and excellent pov.

Well I am at a loss for the particular species of flower, but I do know it is very pretty and one which you have captured beautifully Harry. The addition of the little drops of water really make this shot - like shimmering pearls dancing on the petals. Wonderful!! Hugs. xx

What a gorgeous little flower this is and you have captured it beautifully, Harry. The lighting and the raindrops are just lovely. Seeing as no one seems to know its name, I think we should name it after you - how about Harribiscus!!!!!!! Great capture!! Eileen xx
