Description
I've posted a few pics from my trip to Scotland.
Now I wouldn't want you to think the place is all: misty mountains, jagged rock & swirling cloud, the kind of place where the cattle have to eat rocks (see my last posting) - there is so much more. Like white coral beaches, where yours are the only footprints, turquoise seas, rich meadows full of flowers.........

Seems like paradise, almost tropical in appearance. I rarely see fields of green and flowers so close to the shore like that. Thanks for taking us there!

A superb capture, Richard. I visited Soctland, fell in the with the wild majesty of the landscape. This view is breathtaking. As Kort, I never saw a field of wild flowers before a beach before! It is wonderful to see that places like this still exist! Being landlocked and in a large city really limits one's exposure to the sheer beauty of nature. Awesome crisp, sharp, detailed capture of a remarkable place!

This photograph is absolutely majestic, in every sense of the word. So sublime, leaving one completely awe-stricken.... and that's just from your capture! I can't imagine what a feeling it would be to actually physically be in the place you have so wonderfully captured for us. This is certainly a heaven on earth, if one exists. Such wonderful lighting, so calm and peaceful. Thank you so much for sharing this with us, a truly magnificent piece of work!

This is really beautiful. It reminds me of some of Andreas' pics from that place way up north he went to. It looked practically tropical... This beach is so lovely and the water looks gorgeous, too. I wonder where this is. I read about a place in Scotland, called Inverrurie or something like that...and even though it's on the same latitude at Siberia, it has palm trees and tropical plants grow there. It has something to do with the jet stream or other. ( I know, I'm so informative, lol. ) Anyway, another lovely capture of my favorite place on earth. Thanks for sharing this with us, Richard.-M :^) PS I'm taking notes on who solves the puzzle, too. ;^)

Lovely image but I bet it was freezing! A deserted beach as gogeous as this is a great find. Where is it I wonder? Oh and I think Marlene means the Gulf stream ( I know, I'm so informative too, lol. ) Cheers
