Hi all, Thought I'd try give you a surprise kinda like the one I got when someone told me that I was nominated for AOM... So thanks to all those that encourage, inspire, motivate, and harass me to be better each day.. blah blah blah, you guys rock! Ok I gotta keep going and make my amazing pinhole camera that I'll conquer the world with... Hope everyone is keeping well out there and enjoying their weekend. Oh and what I found interesting (didn't know till I kinda made it up the looked at the meanings) but the prefix sur means above and then with reality... well yeah I'm sure ya know what I mean #;0) TNT, KTK

Well I for one wasn't surprised to see your name in the list of nominees - I can't wait for the results!! Good luck, but I'm sure you don't need it! As for this shot... well, my first shock was discovering that the awful brown splodge mark right in the middle of the "white" area was actually a thumb print on my monitor - a quick rub down revealed a much more professional shot beneath LOL!!! I love the use of negative space (I think that's what they call it anyway?!) This has an almost haunting feel to it. A wonderful moody atmosphere and yes, very surreal indeed. Great shot Kai. Kai, for some reason this makes me think of eating Gelati, probably the pink timge heading off into infinity. This is an inspiring image that has a heaven-like ethereal quality. I love the way the land is floating!

Well, Thank you Elizabeth (Mansco) for directing us to this awesome gallery! This shot is Sur-real!! Fabulous, awesome, and a little .. um .. can't think of the way to say this, hmmm. makes me feel a bit unbalanced, off kilter, you know what I mean? Not having that clear horizon to relate to gives one that off center feeling. Very cool effect!!
