My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

Woweeeeeeeeeeeeeee.this is so great.........you can almost see the bubbles blown by fish, lower right! This is a lovely, easy on the eye, would be lovely on my wall pic.... and how nice that you had a great day!

All the lush vegetation that must have been around and no macro? How did you ever restrain yourself??? ;o) This is a wonderful photo. I like that the foreground tree is sharp and detailed -- makes me feel like I was there, too.

Is a very nice shot. And I haven't been to Whidbey Island in quite awhile. I remember taking the ferry over from Mulkilteo quite a bit. There used to be a pretty good little restruant there on the warf, on the Mukilteo side. Can't remember its name, though I could give you directions =. Bring on the other pics =}.

Isn't it great when days off can be together, so few of them for me and my other half....but I enjoy dragging him out when I can to get photos and he seems to like to follow...not so strange to him anymore for me to have camera at the ready....lol very lovely shot, I do like the old tree with no leaves as a focal point to a wonderful vista...PS hows my babies, no trouble I hope!

We always go down Chuckanut when we go to Bellingham it such a gorgeous drive. Your whole trip was a gorgeous drive can't wait to see pictures. Like the shapes this old tree gives. Nice against the blues and Lummi in the back.

What a beautiful view, looks so quiet and peaceful. Excellent POV!

Chuckanut Drive is soooooo beautiful and if you know where, there's fossils to be found right along side the road!!! You came down right past me???? It was a beautiful day yesterday, so I'm sure you got some great shots!!!!! Can't wait to see more!!!!!!

What! 300 photos! Does this mean no more irises? Love this picture, with the tree silhouetted against the somewhat misty ocean, sky and enchanted island. This is absolutely my kind of tree...stark, dour, leafless, standing stubbornly against the capricious forces of nature. Some day when I get around to it I'll release my shots of similar trees upon the world.
awjay
quite stunning island view
