Description
I really like this photo, but cannot make it come "alive". Played a little with it in PSP8, but something is still missing. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
We are leaving sometime tomorrow, can't wait to get out to the Hollow! This was taken last time, at dusk. Murphy is waiting by the fire for us to join him so he will have a lap to sit on!

I agree with Ladonna.. if the focus goes to the dog, the shot would be more interesting , I think... wonderful surrounding for a camp !

The only thing I can think of is to try and make it more verdant, but it really looks pretty good as is. The dog would be good to go to but I would highlight the fire more because the eye is naturally drawn to it. Nice picture =}

I tried adding it some light from two available sources. If you are willing to sacrifize documentarity, all kinds of effects are possible.

I'm glad its not my lap that Murphy's waiting to sit on as he is pretty big. I like how you can still make out the leaves on the trees even though this was taken when it was quite dark. A lovely peaceful scene and I do hope the weather stays fine for your trip to the Hollow.

I can't say about the image but I love it too. At first I thought the dog in the metal chair was all one creature...the legs of the chair where the legs of the creature and the dog's head the creature's head. Very eerie to see it that way, lol. Now I see that she's just resting peacefully...off the ground and away from the bugs :) Smart dog, lol.
