Description

Okay, so this is not exactly your typical summer photo, lol. But what this is, is a snap of a mock 'Goth' wedding done with Paige and Kayvon, taken at night, at our local duck pond. And oh my! If you saw how these two stopped traffic, lol. So I thought I'd share this with you. P & K were quite pleased with it... Anywaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay...I read this in a book the other day and thought it was fascinating, so I thought I'd share it with you. And surprise surprise, it has nothing whatsoever to do with this upload, of course, lol. But that's me, trying to give you a good reason for looking at my silly stuff... ;^) In the book, a daughter asks her parents to solve a logic puzzle that her teacher had posed in psychology class: ****** A woman is at the funeral of her mother. There she meets a man she doesn't know and has never met, who she thinks, is her dream partner. But because of circumstances, she forgets to ask for his number, and she can't find him afterward. A few days later, she kills her own sister. Why? ****** ( If you want to try to figure it out for yourself, don't read any further, because I'm about to give the answer.) Okay, so I read this and immediately had to put the book down to try to solve it. ( I can't resist a good puzzle, lol. ) Anyway, after over a half an hour or so, I gave up. I honestly had no idea and it was frustrating the heck out of me. Well, it turns out the parents couldn't solve it either, and the daughter then says ,"Congratulations. Neither of you is a psychopath." It seems it's not really a logic puzzle at all, but rather a kind of diagnostic tool. That's why it was posed by the psychology teacher. The reason she murdered her sister was because she hoped the guy would show up at that funeral, too. Apparently, most serial killers who are asked this question, have no difficulty solving it. :^/ Isn't that fascinating? Well, anyway, I thought so. And lol, after reading that, I was glad this was one puzzle I couldn't solve. ;^) Okay, so that's it for moi. Thanks for looking and any comments you may wish to leave. Have a great week everyone ! Marlene :^) Best viewed full-size....

That selective colors presentation suits perfectly! Excellent shot, Marlene I hope the teacher had only made up this puzzle, that wasn't a real affair, because the answer is appalling ! <:O ... q:)Magali

Well I'm sorry, but I don't understand even AFTER the explanation. There really is no hope for me I guess. They look comfortable though - e.g. not lying on a rock - you were not feeling cruel this time, obviously ;-) ;-) ;-)

Very interesting photo ... and so well done -- Diane Arbus-esque IMHO. And I'm so glad that neither of us solved the puzzle. LOL

What a gorgeous couple! Paige is lucky to have such a good photographer and artist in the family. I love the black & white with a touch of color. And glad to see I passed the test - no serial killer here!

Well I can see from this just how much of your amazing work I have missed! Both are stunning (especially his eyes sigh) as your work. I seem to recall reading this puzzle somewhere else and still couldn't think what the answer was ... ohh well guess you don't need to worry about me, lol.
