Description

Ok, not everyone's cup of tea I know. But me being me, I wanted to play with snapping different textures and light. Friends thought I was mad - took about 50 pics of this guy... Thanks for views and comments, I appreciate them all. If anyone has any CC on what I could have done differently on this, or any other upload, tell me! Lol. Tracey

Ooh, I've been taking the exact same shots today, but couldn't get the little guys head and antena things to come out of its shell. Excellent shot Tracey! Wonderful colours and details! You've been putting your new macro kit to good use!!

Great shot. Stay being you. Everything is great here. If you want, try experimenting with bouncing the flash around on different objects or maybe a flash umbrella to reduce the glare on the tip of the shell's spiral. Or just leave it like that, it still looks great.

Excellent macro. I have taken hundreds of shots of snails and they are not easy to shoot and get an interesting photo. :-) This is a fine experiment with lighting...the texture goes right along with it.

Nice one Tracey you're putting that macro to good use, good close up, can also see a couple of other tiny bugs as well. The light in top of the shell does look a tad harsh, for my last macro shot I used some white card to bounce of. Still a great pic and some great textures as well. Did you just get the one Macro lens or did you get a set?
