Reminds me of driving down on the bayou on la. Looks really cool Richard.Makes you wonder how many people lived there and what they were like.Well that is what I think when I see an old place like that

Lol what a great find! Though it would make a good hide for nature shots.. I am not sure I would even risk that!!

Fantastic photo my friend....!!! Impressive old wood house.....!!

I love it, the texture and detail is fantastic, its one of those photo's that you treasure and look back on in twenty years and wonder what became of it. Now if that was near London, it would have a £500,000 tag on it and if it went to auction it would most prob fetch in excess of £1,000,000.00. If the big bad wolf went past he wouldn't need to puff to blow the house down.

Well, it does look like it needs a little TLC. BTW, I once took on a "fixer-upper" ... in retrospect demolition would have been the wisest approach. Nice photo!

Yeah, I know, all it would take, it would seem, is a good sneeze. Have some "shacks" like this around here as well and found it rather amazing that after Rita came through they were still standing, while some of the seemingly more substantial structures were damaged or collapsed. I guess its true, they just don't build things like they use to. :O)

Excellent photo, well done!
