Description
Okay, so I've decided to radically change the kit.
I spose because I've been listening to a lot of metal recently, a double bass kit just seemed right, so I've spent a fair old while converting the kit to a double bass kit instead of the old single bass style.
Changes in this version are:
***Flat grey texture*** - I'm working on some new textures, then I'm going to texture the whole thing in one go.
***Two new rack toms*** - To go with the extra bass/kick drum, I've added two new toms (9" and 11") to the kit. Current layout is now 2 22" bass drums, 16" and 14" floor toms, 14.5" Snare, 12" 11" 10" 9" and 8" rack toms.
***New tom stand*** To go with the extra toms, I've supported the middle two on a freestanding stand instead of the tom stands on the bass drums. This (as with real drum kits) is so I can get the center two closer to the drummer.
***Bass tom stands revised*** Each bass tom stand now only supports one tom - the two surplus clamps have been removed and replaced with a backing plate.
And that's about it, as usual, all comments welcome!
