I want a drum stick.. jk.. An excellent shot here man. You must keep a sharp eye out for stuff (like I do often) and look weird to those around when you are takin pics of dead bugs.. haaha. But I think the details in this rock. Nice angle on it too, to see the empty shell. Good stuff!

Them ants are wicked little things aren't they? I came home to find Boris (My kitty) flipping a mouse around. :-/ Anyway, this is a great shot :)

And lunch is served ! I see this kind of ant-fest regularly, living on a semi-rural property, especially if you drop some food out the back veranda ! Great feast of a macro ! ~Cheers~ :o)

Great POV and incredible clarity in this shot of nature in the raw. Evidently, protein-eating ants from the look of it. I see stuff like this on the local sidewalks but I could never capture it because of my messed up back and arthritic knees. In fact, the ants would probably find me an even more sumptious feast if I didn't keep moving around.
