Looking up at this palm made me think of what it might look like for an insect to peer up at a dandelion. It 's all a matter of scale, and I am sure that some beings would consider us to be the insect beneath their dandylions. ------

An excellent concept. I love the POV on this shot Kort and the colours/tones are great - is that IR?? I got a shot from underneath a palm like this with the sun above the branches, but nothing so amazing as this capture!! Great pic. xx

The fronds are marvelous with IR. I like the way everything is thrown out from the center like that. Really nice. Interesting pov that probably wouldn't have been if it was in regular color or b/w.

Another unique POV of a tree in IR, this time elegantly silhouetted against the partially obscured sun. And, Ambrose Bierce, author of a satirical dictionary, which I have but that is currently hiding somewhere among my possessions.
