A strange meeting in the year 2112. A young "cop" discovers some eggs from an alien planet in the course of a patrol in the desert. One of the critters is already out of his egg. Is this creature dangerous??? I just wanted to make a render with the AZUSA 2112 outfit and bike by Orion 1167 and XV3D. Something different for a sci-fi render. No violence and once again some poetry because the creature seems to say "hello!". The scene was composed in POSER 7 and imported and rendered in VUE 6 Pro Studio. I used radiosity because the indirect reflections had to be correctly calculated. It's of course slower but the result is far better. I modelled the egg in Amapi 3D version 6.1 (it's very easy in that program). I wanted to texture it in POSER but had some issue because there were seams. I thus decided to overcome the problem by assigning a custom VUE mat file. I mixed two materials because I absolutely needed some dust on the eggs. But there are no seams... :) The idea is coming from the BOLLADON pack that was offered for free some time ago at DAZ3D. When I saw the creatures, I knew that one day I would use at least one of them (here, the male). The textures for the outfit and bike (partial mat for the bike) are coming from the excellent set DIVINE WIND for AZUSA 2112 by Kaleya. The textures look a bit more shiny than in POSER but I liked the effect and corrected nothing (the outfit looks like plastic or leather). The title is coming from a poem by the famous british poet Wilfred Owen who died in 1918 just a few days before the end of the war...
