Description
Tried a different lighting approach this time- one I don't usually use: The Ambient Occulsion setting. The one that's supposed to base the light on what was used in the background pic. Looks like it might've worked- this time. Enterprise is the same Excalibur Production model I've been using and the Earth background is a jpg pic saved from the astronomy program Celestia.

Great shot. Reminds me of the covers of the paperbacks of the original James Blish Star Trek adaptations published in the 70's by Bantam.
