Description
Two shots stitched into one. thought it might be nice to see all these old timers in one image.
Desaturated to give the old feel

I agree with your comment about the DR1. I have postworked out some heli's which were on the right of this pic but getting rid of the DR1 would have been time consuming so I decided to leave it in. Unfortunately there is not a massive amount of spectator room at this event so I was restricted with the points of view.

I will have a go at coming up with an image that includes just the two Sopwiths. Thanks for the feedback :-)
Thanks for your comments on yesterdays pic and enjoy your weekend

(Only four original Camels left, of which only one built by Sopwith - AND it is still airworthy!) Fantastic image. Particularly love the Tripe, although the Dr1 kinda looks out of place beyond it.

Could be wrong but think Sopwith on right is called a Sopwith "Snipe" Excellent capture! Curious..where were these planes located? :B eaver !

Nice image and they are making the most of the old airfields.. You should come up to Wroughton Air Yard some great things to see here!

I was happy to find out Harry Sopwith lived to be 101. My peers among aircraft builders began to die suddenly in their 50's. This is the era about which he said, "We began to stress aircraft." His other comment about nieve aviators who try to fly a creation by "just pitching up" is darker.

Too cool! Great to see the old timers all together. The RN has a nice collection here!
