Description
Captured 7/12/07 around 7:45 AM, about 1.60 miles from my abode.
The city has just completed replacing our old flat concrete bus benches with these new ergonomically designed metal beauties. The bench is supposed to be easier on the tush and is more attractive than the old ones. You may have something similar in your neck of the woods.
They vary in length and composition depending on the locale, and many of them have overhead roof extensions for protection from the rain, if and when that meteorlogical miracle ever happens.

I love the geometry in this shot Harry - the straight lines combined beautifully with the curves which are emphasised more by the reflection of sunlight. A great POV and superb clarity. I'm sure my tush would definitely prefer to sit on one of these rather than a hard slab of concrete!! Excellent my friend. xx

That's got to be one of the best photos of a bus bench I've ever seen. Great the way the lines run and that flash of reflected light is almost like a twinkle or sparkle like the ones in cartoons. And thanks for the info on the installing of these beauties down your way. :-)
