Description
Alas, I had just about uploaded another locomotive of yore shot, when it suddenly dawned on me that I was way overdue on another one of my world renowned daisy variations. Can't proceed on this stimulating odyssey without occasionally posting one of those, you know.
So, without further ado, we travel back half a century via time machine to view things as they often appeared back then on the fledgling technology.
Have a super Saturday!

And I am just about old enough to remember such images. I also remember the fact that my mum was the "remote control" for my dad!! The TV had only 7 buttons.... 3 channels, contrast, brightness, volume and on/off button and we were happy!!! Oh the good old days when the most serious decision I had to make was which sweets to buy with my sixpence pocket money!! Thanks for the trip down memory lane Harry. Your shot is delightful by the way!! Hugs. xx

This is a wonderful view of your famous daisies! How well I remember the shape of that screen, and the first time I saw television in color. It seems like such a long time ago . . . Well, heck! It WAS a long time ago!! I saw a patch of daisies growing in a neighbor's yard yesterday and thought of you. It's wonderful to see them again . . . in reruns!

The only thing missing here is the black line that goes with the picture as it flips upward over and over and over... :-) The is a very lively shot, Harry. And a good imagination you got to go with it.

The daisy became the symbol of the office goldilocks who inspired the daisy wheel printer. Now how would that work on radar? Would her hands be clocked at 100mph like a tennis ball or baseball?

Broadcast daisies. CBS? NBC? Do not adjust the controls on your TV set. We control the horizontal -- and the vertical... ;']
