Description
Well, they all got wiped out in the Bug Hunt (previous pic), except this guy, who has the sorry duty of blowing up the base and getting the hell out.

Brilliant image Paul! I love the guys expression... kind of sums it all up right there. Excellent job on the lighting and textureing as always... adds a lot to the mood. Really a shame to see that base get blown up, but it's the only way to be sure (sorry, I've watched Aliens way too many times...).

Well I saw this the night you uploaded it, and have come back a few times looking for something more interesting to say than Great Job. But really I think you are a fantastic artist. I can't see anything at all that I would change. What I like the best is the detail in the background and the floor. Least - eh maybe his skin.

Stylish image; well lit and posed. My only question is, given the title and the back story, shouldn't the set and the figure be a bit more "messed up"? It would be nice to see some indication of the battle that's taken place. I'm not suggesting gallons of blood and dismembered corpses, but just something (other than the space marine's excellent expression and pose) to indicate that all is not well.

I'd have to agree with Starfish42. It's all very clean for a scene where a battle took place. Try adding some debris elements and/or scuffing up the textures either in post or directly on the texture itself. Good work and the scene has mood even without the nuances.
